Difficult to say the least, it's how these years have been for me. There's nothing I'd rather do than destroy it all and start anew. Dirty hands and filthy feet but even grosser in between. There's something I've got to do. All this scum has got to go. The time has come, I must get clean, wash this stink all off of me.
Now I run the bath. I turn the knob all the way to the red, because I don't need any cold water. I let the tub overflow, I let the room fill with steam.
Curtains drawn, no privacy; I want everyone to see that I don't waste any time. I don't dip my foot in first. I slide my dirty body into the scalding hot water. I let the suds envelop me.
I'm convinced I had it right, I had the right idea. What I just can't seem to reconcile is why I'm still not clean. Drain the tub, it's time to be a new man, all dirt-free.
The water's gone, I'm still not clean? All the dirt still remains.
Intense, in-your-face noise rock from a band that gives it all, all the time. A live show NOT to be missed, and their records sound just as good. Absolutely worth supporting. Gabe Rose-Gonzalez
